What did I say... yes this is another birthday card. The priceless set is fabulous. You get such crisp clean lines and the end result is stunning. I particularly love the colour combination of purple and lemon. I use a lot of the stick on gems as they are so pretty and seem to lift images off the page.

Patricia's card

Amanda's 21st
I don't know if you feel the same but there seems to be an awful lot of birthdays at this time of year.. I have been making quite a few birthday cards lately...not that I mind as it is a good excuse to disappear into my office for a few hours and while away the time being creative.
Here is a card for my niece Amanda who turned 21 a couple of weeks ago. I used the fabulous Priceless set and got a stunning result , topped off with gems and a ribbon.
Engagement
My best friend's son has just got engaged to a lovely girl, so I wanted to create something special for them. Again using Vintage vogue flowers and a with a bit of distressing of some patterned paper the end result was not too bad. I embossed the back ground with "a french script" of which I stamped several times to cover the card and embosssed with clear embossing powder so as not to detract from the raised images
Sorry it is a bit hard to photograph. You can catch a glimpse of it in the 2nd photo.. I think that it turned out ok and I know Tina really loved it.
Happy Birthday Mum
I am getting into a little bit of experimenting. My recent craze at the moment is to emboss things. I love the effect this has when you mix it with regular stamping.
Here is a card I made my Mum for her birthday. I distressed the card with coloured chalk to give it the antique look. I used a roller stamp from stampin up to do the bottom edge using versamark and then embossed with black on the chocolate brown card to make it pop out. The flowers are from the vintage vogue collection. [This is such a versatile stampin set ] all topped off with a pretty ribbon.
