Envelope album
I have loved putting this envelope album together. Hubbie gets his payslip delivered in these little brown envelopes each week, so instead of putting them out for recycling I have been collecting them with making some sort of album in mind.
Collect envelopes and paper to cover the envelopes. I used Authentique 6x6 pad of papers and cut to fit the front of the envelope as the size was perfect for the size of the envelopes. The off cuts were used to cover the back of the envelopes
I then cut out tags to fit into each envelope and used a Martha Stewart punch on the edge of the tags for the lacy look. Each tag was smudged with Distress Ink Walnut Stain around the edges to give the aged look
I then used the Cricut to cut out the edges of the pieces of coloured card that I glued to the end of the tabs. Lace was laid onto of the tag and over the punched edge to butt up to the coloured card edge. Over this edge I glued some Rhinestones.
Now the fun part starts. I stamped each tag with a stamp on both sides .I stamped a text stamp from the Tim Holtz Papillion stamp set and then stencilled modelling paste through a chevron stencil. This was then colored with coordinating Distress Inks in Faded Denium, Wild Honey, Walnut Stain,Rusty Hinge, Scattered Straw
Decorate as you wish. Here are the 10 finished envelopes
