Barcelona

After three days in Paris we flew to Barcelona. What a wonderful city this is. An eclectic mix of old and new and startling architecture to see.

 One of the most amazing sites is the Sagrada Familiar. How incredible that it has taken 100 years to build and they are still building it. Gaudi was some architect and his vision must have been way beyond his time

Of course you can not go to Barcelona without going to the famous Park Guell, where the mosaics are beautiful. We had a spectacular day seeiing these sites and the view from the top of the garden looking down over Barcelona was spectacular. We wondered back to the city centre stopping on the way for a beer and glass of wine under the tree lined streets...magic

Cakes?..... I don't think so, no they are towels!. Aren't they displayed so beautifully
