Family fun

I was lucky enough to be able to go to the annual scrapbooking show in NZ last year (SENZ) and attended a couple of classes This was a fun class to go to ( messy fun too) by Jill Geraghty-Groves  http://jillgg.typepad.com/.   A very talented Australian lady who came to NZ to run several classes . We cut our background paper into 2" squares then distressed with ink and then applied them all jumbled up onto another plain background page. We then added our photo, text and embellishments. I used distress inks by Tim Holtz ( vintage photo and faded jeans), spritzing some of the faded jeans onto the paper as well to help lift it as originally the idea was to use one colour only, however the vintage photo was a little overwhelming. On the right side we coloured muslin cloth and scrunched this up to add some more texture to the page
