Summer Blooms

Again the roses are beautiful. I do so love the old fashioned roses. Here is Dublin Bay (red) and Graham Thomas (Yellow), two of my all time favourites, Currently I am painting  Graham Thomas, which is proving to be exceptionally difficult as it has so many little layers to get right.

One of my favourite things

I absolutely love old fashioned roses. Though I don't have much room for them in my garden, I pulled out some old stuff and managed to squeeze in five of my favourite. I have Dublin Bay, Old Port,Mary Rose, Anniversary(from my mum) and Graham Thomas. They are just starting to flower again and I can't wait.
