Hubby's wallet

Gosh, I can't believe that it has been so long since I posted on my blog. Several issues with the computer, Christmas leave, lost photos to post a and life seem to have delayed things. Anyway, back into things and I have been rbusy with several things
I found this wonderful wee wallet on pinterest and have made three of these. The tutorial is from this website where there is some really lovely stuff.http://www.elkekaarteenfeestje.nl/.

I have really enjoyed making these wallets. I decided to make them for my daughter, a friend and my hubby. The idea was around giving a gift, but something that was meaningful to them too, with words of encouragement and enlightenment
Embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder to make it look like an old leather wallet.

Male theamed stamps used on the tags.

Kristy's wallet

.
For Kristy's wallet I embossed the paper to give it some texture. Coordinating papers were chosen for the outside and inside.
Stamps were chosen with care and sentiments adhered to the other side.

Becky's wallet

This one I made for my daughter. This is the outer cover of which I put a brad with "R" on to tie the ribbon around and then wrapped this around the wallet to hold it closed

I cut cards and stamped each on the glued a sentiment on each card .
